I did some research before buying this package deal, and got some very mixed opinions about the speakers and the amp. Well let me first start off by saying that I've had this product for about two months now and they are still working great with no problems. When properly setup and everything with a closed speaker box (I built my own) these speakers can really kick, and I am very happy with them. I have only had one problem thus far and that was that the amp can be over powered, in which when I turned the amp up too high the blue light on the top would dim every time the bass hit, but let me assure you the amp really does not need to be turned up this high, it is really loud if you leave the sensitivity at 1. Other then that this product has meet all of my expectations and I am very satisfied. This is a very good buy for the price, and I would defiantly recommend this product to anyone looking for a loud sound system at a reasonable price. I needed a passive device that would control various settings for my car subwoofer including a dedicated volume control for the sub only, I could not be happier with this purchase. This unit turns on with the head unit and also allows a separate IPod or accessory input to the EQ, faceplate illumination can be changed from green to red, (I needed Red), also has line level input adjustments so any input you supply to EQ can be modulated to be the same volume as head unit. In other words if you have a CD Changer unit separate from your head unit when switching from a CD played in the head unit and another being played from the CD changer in the trunk there will be no marked volume difference between the units. Nothing worse than having a nice song playing at a medium volume level to then be followed by one that scares the bejezzuz out of you because it is five or six volume settings louder because of a line level input difference. This unit makes all of your different speakers and input devices work nice together, well worth the money

Choosing Cheap Car Subwoofers

There are a lot car audio subwoofers available out there. There are online store and off line store. The online store is means that the store in showing by websites. Now there are a lot of online store, so you can easy to get more information.

Car subwoofers is allowing you to enjoy bass. Without them, you won't generate enough bass waves for your car's audio system to be enjoyable. You'll notice that many systems today consist of two subs, or a pair. The reason it's good to have a pair of subs is because two subwoofers move twice as much air as one sub. This means you'll be creating twice as much bass waves

The most common sizes of subwoofers  are 10", 12" and 15".

·         10" subwoofers will hit harder but may not provide sufficient low end bass.

·         12" subs will still hit hard and accurate, but will also provide the low end bass extensions. Simply put, 12" subs are a really great choice for diversity in tunes.

·         15" subwoofers may not be as accurate when it comes to hard hitting bass music, such as alternative music, but will provide the deepest bass possible for all the "bassy" tunes you listen to.

If you want your cheap car subwoofer to produce a lot of bass, you'll generally need at least 250 watts of continuous power handling from each sub.  I use this product on a Garmin GPS60CS. Before hand, I would get okay signal on any given day. And navigating by it in the truck was difficult because of lost signals. Once I hooked up this GA 25MCX to the GPS, WOW. I have never had sooo many and so high recepction before, EVER!. I almost had all 12 sats. @ full strength. And the plug is easy to use, just push it in and go. And just pull it out for removal, no tiny screw to mess with. The wire is slim and long (9ft), easy enough to hide away behing trim pieces. If you travel with a mobile GPS from Garmin, I highly recommend this product.

I ordered one of these Garmin 25MCX external GPS antennas thinking it was an adequate but less-expensive version of the Garmin GA27C. But the performance of the 25MCX was so bad that I thought it was defective. "Bad" in this context means that all four of the Garmin GPS units that I tried with it took way too long to acquire a fix and the GPS unit very easily lost its connections to the satellites. The 25MCX was essentially useless. I assume that the 25MCX must provide a very weak signal to the GPS compared to the Garmin GA27C and the "Gilsson High Performance active remote external" products.

Installation can mean adding new features or replacing the stock audio system. You can customize the stock audio system of your car by replacing the stereo, speakers and amplifier with those of your choice.

Before starting the installation task, double-check that you are in ready possession of the needed tools, like screwdrivers, wire stripper, crimper, wiring ties, butt splices, the dash bit, etc. In some cases, you may require an antenna adapter. These are readily available with your stereo retailer.

The best way to install your car speakers, stereos, amplifiers etc is to follow the instructions given in the instruction manual. Every car has a specific model of audio system. So, plan what best you can install in your vehicle.

In most cars, the front speakers are preferably round shape, while the rear speakers are oval shape. It is better if you choose to retain same stock location for speakers, to avoid breaking the door panel or the retaining dips in case of removing speakers installed in doors.

Basically, car stereo installation includes radio installation, front speaker, rear end speaker installation and the selection of equipment.

Some of the other components which are upgraded in a high-end car stereo are amplifiers, alternators, cables, audio processors, woofer enclosure, equalizers, DVD, navigation etc.

You need to constantly upgrade the alternators according to your vehicle's current capability in terms of the electrical system. If you want to install very large audio systems in your car, then you may need loads of batteries to control fluctuations in current flow and thereby enjoy your favorite music for longer periods. You would not run out of power.
